You know, I thought I would have nothing to say about this episode but it turns out I had a lot on my mind, I do hope you have the time to take a look at my episode review over on 100 word anime.

If I did have a lot to say about the episode itself, the visuals are a different story and you will notice that there is an almost reasonable amount of screencaps this time. In/Spectre has great character designs but not that much else to speak of as far as screencaps go. If you add in the fact that the last handful of episodes look almost the same and it makes for rather dull gallery posts…. Sorry about that.

The Nanase body double was cute. I remembered thinking that I really like freckles on anime characters and I like that it’s a new design trend we’re seeing more and more of. I was a little bummed out when they had to cover them with makeup.  And Nanase’s incognito mode is in fact viable. As in I could see someone pulling off that type of disguise and she does look different enough to fool people that don’t personally know her in my opinion. Good job there.

Once again, I’m just talking about the character designs.

I guess the black stuff winding around Kuro’s face was a pretty striking image. Look a bit cheap though.

I,m almost completely desensitized to Kuro’s death scenes by now. I wonder if I would feel the same if they used another character or did the gruesome imagery in this show sort of numb me to it. It’s not a bad thing but I don’t know, if they are throwing those scenes in for shock value, it’s kind of wasted now.

I am very curious to see what the series will look like for its season finale! I’m ready to see some different setting for Kotoko and company.
