Ok guys, we’re going to go into the quickfire round until I manage to catch up on the galleries and posts on two blogs. I think I may have bitten off a bit too much here….
It’s ridiculous how different Hiroki looks from last episode. And it’s definitely not just the hair colour. They went way overboard in making the character look sickly. And it’s sort of disbelief destroying that he would go right back to looking like he did before so easily. But I like Hiroki’s character model so I’m not going to complain.
You know, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that I started to enjoy this show a lot more when the mind scapes became more subtle. It’s still very high school goth art project but it’s a lot more uncanny now. For instance in this episode they played with desaturating all the colours except for Hiroki’s that created a lonely and sad atmosphere without the use of exaggerated images. That was good. The director isn’t bad, maybe just a bit green?
Oh right there was face soup. I forgot about the face soup. Forget everything I just said. This show definitely tries way too hard!
Tsukasa’s character model is still too inconsistent for my taste but I do enjoy the physical changes they added. Very few shows play around with their models this much. Ok, the episode 10 and 11 galleries should be up in the next few days!
