via In/Spectre Episode 10 Review — 100 Word Anime
We’re in the home stretch you guys!! I am now only one episode review behind on my Gallery posts! Amazing! I really put a lot more work in my 100 Word anime posts in the last weeks so I hope you have time to check them out.
The violent scenes of In/Spectre are really very gory. I’ve mentioned it before. The thing is that these scenes are so different from the rest of the look of the show that I keep forgetting about them then I’m just a little surprised every time they don’t hesitate to show bloody remains and body parts flying around.
And then they’ll throw in a chibi or a line art scene. In/Spectre is not that visually interesting aside from the great character designs but you can tell that there is some effort put in to use the visual medium a little at least and I appreciate that. They could have coasted on Kotoko’s cuteness.
And of course, colours are the most frequently used device and by far the most blunt. I notice that both the internet and Kuro’s weird time bending world are the same turquoise type colour. I wonder if that’s just lazyness or if there’s a significance. like the virtual world we’ve create din the wake of the internet also represents infinite possibilities and allows one to craft the future and to an extent reality itself.. That’s probably a stretch. sounds like a stretch…
