Favorite Character Outfit
This is going to sound really boring but it’s Killua’s linen and natural fiber outfit from the beginning of the Chimera arc.
I know, it’s really plain looking but it also looks good and has that effortless chic thing going for it. Like a supermodel at the airport… I really want that outfit.
Right in the middle of writing this and it occurs to me that the question probably isn’t which outfit would you wear but which one was the most fun to look at… See this is why it’s a challenge folks. Well, it is to people like me.
I’m sticking to Kil though and his scene kid/soft raver look from the beginning of the Yorknew arc. I don’t know about you guys, but I get super excited when characters wear something that looks drastically different from their usual uniforms. I’m the type of person that collects all the alternative outfits and hats in video games. And this little number, which Killua wore very briefly for no apparent reason, is quite the departure from his usual simple classic turtleneck and white and blue color palette.
It’s like Killua just wanted to look cool when he went to the big city, but no one mentions it at all. I happen to love that. I wish they had found something similar for Gon but I’m not sure he would have pulled it off…
Suggested drink: a Fashionista

- Every time someone dressed normally is interacting with someone who seems to be in a costume – have a drink

Killua has had some great outfits so far (I’ve still actually got to finish this show).

I’ve made it to episode 72. I was hoping to get a bit further over the holidays but stuff happens. So new goal, hopefully finish this one by May so I can cross it off my list finally given how long it has been sitting in my watch list. I am enjoying it, but it is quite the time commitment.
Well I can’t deny that. But I’ve always believed it worth the time

I’m super into Killua’s sense of style too. That Yorknew outfit is pure androgyne-chic, wish I could wear it and look that cool and effortless. And yeah, it’s cool that no-one ever mentions his outfit changes or fashion interests, it’s just who he is and people accept that 😊
Very few of us can live up to Killua cool I’m afraid. I certainly don’t come close…

I really love it when characters change clothes often. (Part of why I love Cardcaptor Sakura so much.) I really wonder why Gon didn’t have much change of outfit, though I guess out of those two, Killua seems the type to buy and wear cool clothes. 😀
I’m thinking there weren’t that many shops on Whale Island. He probably had to wear whatever Mito chose/made for him and let’s face it – Mito is the best but not much for fashion. I love this mundane discussion on HxH. I always wanted to know how long it took Hisoka to get ready in the mornings.
Ohh… that’s a reasonable headcanon! It may truly be so, now that I think about it. There’s just so much one can get from a small island. Ahh, that’s an interesting topic to ponder upon! I imagine Hisoka’s the type to care a lot about his body, so he may have a lot of those skin care products in his bathroom. I feel like he can spend an hour or two in it. lol
