Noooooo, I wasn’t ready yet! I wanted to see more! You can go read what I thought of the actual episode on Karandi’s blog. You know, I realize I never explained that post title. It’s Goncharov’s power…I think. It’s one of the real Goncharov’s better-known novels and his power in BSD is Dangai. I looked it up and it translates from Japanese to “cliff” so that’s what I’m going with. It’s a pretty safe bet.
Anywho, visually this episode actually broke with most of the season. We got a call back to the warm contrasting sunsets in the last scene but even there, the colours were much softer than they have been so far. It felt like a fresh start rather than an ending if we only go by the images. Isn’t it odd.
More importantly, I really like the header gif I made! It took me 6 tries to get the timing right.
