Favorite opening animation

I really didn’t think I’d have much to say on this one… and I don’t.

After rewatching all the openings to make sure there really is more than one I’m going to go with OP2.

I really like those snap shots of the characters at the very beginning, it goes along very well with the music. There’s a decent amount of Hisoka. The random scenes are cutesy and amusing. E see some phantom troupe which is always fun and the only scenes that distinguish OP2 from OP3 are some fantastically animated actions scenes. In the 3 they are replaced by much more static shots of the phantom troupe members which are just not as fun to watch.

Is it a great op, naw, not really. It’s fun though, I let it play a lot.

Second place goes to OP5 which opened everyone’s favorite chimera ant arc (and for good reason). A pretty good op also, I enjoyed those background pop art animations in the first half, but it is sadly lacking in Hisokas and the animation is just not as enjoyable.
