In anime, various ways are done to attract audiences by presenting some of the visualized real world entertainments. One of which is the maid culture, maid is a nickname or can be said to be a job wearing typical European maid clothes. Maybe they are just maids, but the popularity of Maid is very famous in Japan, even in the world. This is because the hallmark of this maid outfit makes the wearers more beautiful and sexier. Rosarita Cisneros or better known as Roberta, is a Colombian maid working for the Lovelace family for 4 years in Venezuela. Roberta is a white woman with purple hair. She is usually seen wearing a long maid uniform and a cross necklace. Although Roberta’s household skills such as cooking and cleaning are poor, she develops a close friendship with Garcia Lovelace, the 2nd son of the Lovelace family. She was a former FARC guerrilla trained as an assassin in Cuba and an international criminal referred as a hard-core terrorist.
1. Ayuzawa Misaki (Kaichou wa Maid-sama)
Misaki is the main female character in this anime series. She is very strict with the boys and also better known as the “Demon President”. Besides that, she is secretly working part time as a mais at Maid Latte. Misaki was a gentle girl at the beginning, but since Misaki’s father left her, she becomes a girl who hates men.

Hmm there are so many great maid characters in anime, it’s hard to choose which ones are my favorite. But I definitely like Misaki. I like that in Kaichou wa Maid sama, yes she works at a maid cafe, but she does more than that. She works hard as a class president and she tries her best to improve her school. I like that she isn’t just a one dimensional maid character.
When I read the title of this article, I instantly thought of Roberta. Glad to see her included here.
Speaking of which, I really do hope we will get a third season of Black Lagoon in the future. I had fun watching that anime, and for a change, a lot of people also praised the dubbed version of that anime.
